Yup, unless you got beaten up as a child or lost a relative (or a few) there's no real way for you to get time for a backstory.
At least you're not in Bleach, if you haven't lost someone or gotten beaten up when you were younger, there's no way you'd even be anywhere close to a main character.
How many main characters do you want? Both of these shows/manga have massive casts. You can't possibly include backstories for every single one of them within the story itself, or the story itself would never be told. In truth, both series have gone more than long enough, if you ask me.
Well I meant it as in, it seems like every main character in both Bleach and Naruto have a sob story behind them.
Ichigo = Lost his mom Chado = Lost his grandpa, troubled child
Naruto = God, his entire past is this Sakura = Made fun of when young...although her backstory is pretty mild, the entire 1rst serie becomes her sob story after the timeskip.
And so on and so on.
For the main character of a show, sure, it might be boring if we remove that aspect, but at least have some of the main chars with normal childhoods. Not everyone lives a tragedy when they're kids after all...
stop purposely misquoting people, it's juvenile. besides, not everyone has to be a main character to get some screentime, characters get their string of episodes with screentime of them, just not all the time in every episode.
I concur with Feanor, tenten's hot as she's the creators (can't remember his name) favorite female ninja so she hasn't had a back story wah wah it just means that the fans can have a little more fun with it on all the fanfic sites PS power to NEJITEN!
just summon Raising Heart and you'll got the series for your own along with a number of comatose main character,Tenten. And try to say Nipaa~! while doing it too.it adds more drama.
