I don't mean having sex with the admiral. I mean that she actually reached him. The real him, that he keeps hidden under layers of mental and emotional armoring. That moment where he pleads with her not to die before he does... even though the others know he has that trauma, they've never reached him there. They've never actually gotten to him deep down, where the armor is stripped away and he's vulnerable and lost and suffering. Hibiki has pushed past all the others with this, and formed a connection with him that is much stronger than the one night stand Kongo managed.

Yua falls off the face of the Net for months because of serious health problems, and his stuff goes untouched.
The minute he posts pics on Twitter again, everything gets brought up to date.
Danbooru, you have the weirdest triggers.
Well, I did ask WhiteCrow specifically if he could come finish this up, just a couple days ago. I suppose it's possible he didn't realize until then that it hadn't been done.
and that on the flip side, it's impossible for anyone else but oneself to decide if they're "sane".
Season 16.5 "23:48:31"
The End
What I learned is, that there's no way we could walk the "sane" path no matter how hard we tried;A trivial, yet pleasant and refreshing "theory" of seeking happiness...And that's the end of this little "comedy."this was just an episode in the course of proving that theory.
