Pineapple in sweet and sour pork is a famously divisive ingredient. Though usually a common ingredient, whether they're meant to be eaten or just used to add sweetness while cooking is hotly debated within dining tables all over East Asia. My family is split in half, with those that don't like them literally scooping them up and putting them on our plates.
