The game could become like a second job when you need to stock resources for the next event. The most rewarding expeditions needs you to sortie every 30-40 minutes. Plus the complete daily quest chain take 1-2 hours from your life. Unless you program a schedule, you aren't gaining resources when you are sleeping.
Also, some shipgirls hour lines include dialogs like that. Kamikaze isn't one of them though.
