To elaborate, the Halloween 2016 event was a parody of classic RPG games. At one part, when you're about to reach the castle, a giant ghostlike figure of Siegfried sends you back to the beginning, apologizing in the process.
That scene was, of course, a parody, although I can't remember of which specific game. (Ghosts and Goblins, perhaps?)

So what we have here is a parody of a parody.
