Pocket Biscuits? Hmm... could Serval's group, Doubitsu Biscuits, be referencing them?

Pocket Biscuits (PockeBi) weren't exactly a serious group... they were created on a variety show, and consisted of Chiaki with a pair of male comedians. They also had a rival group called Black Biscuits, and in 1998 they had this competition thing going to make an album. Black Biscuits (BlaBi) won, largely because they had Vivian Hsu, who was very popular. Still, Pocket Biscuits was popular enough to get enough support to make an album too (and it is quite the album... much more novelty than the Black Biscuits one, all the songs have a colour in their name, personally I love Green Man, but the other songs are good too). The performance by the two groups on the Kouhaku that year is one of my favourites.

I mainly became aware of them when their song "Red Angel" was used for this.
