I always find it weird when an artist spends a ton of time and effort shading a character, then makes a focal foreground item a random wobbly scribble. It practically looks like that sake dish was just photoshopped in on top of the rest of the picture, the amount of effort that went into it is so greatly divergent from the rest of the work.

If I recall correctly Shuten admits that her current form was a result of being drained by Ibaraki
If anything chances are this is close to how she would really look
