Speaking as someone who doesn't play this game, are there official translations for these country names? I'm also unsure of how to translate "rewards and rewards", since there are two different pairs of kanji that come up with the same meaning in the dictionary. (Although one of them can also be "compensation", but giving someone "compensation" out of nowhere is kind of odd....)

eagle union(usa), sakura empire(japan), metalblood(germany), and royal navy(uk) would be the official names in game. not sure what china's is if they have one.

That should be Ning Hai's face in the first panel, not Ping Hai. Former has loops, latter has twintails.

china doesn't have an official name afaik, the people at the wiki are still undecided as to what to 'name' the chinese faction too.

well china is.. china. and russia is north union

China is ROC iirc

no China navy is China for weird reasons but since the PRC never had a standing navy during the civil war they are represented by ROC(Taiwan) ships the balls of the dev team... so most likely Yukikaze as Tan Yang might be possible

This is a bit late, but given the officially accepted fiction on all sides that the ROC and the PRC are one country, I don't necessarily think that using ROC vessels would be looked at negatively by the Communist Party.

Eagle Union == USA
Royal Navy == British Empire
Ironblood == Germany (Not Metalblood, I'll kill you, though whether it's Ironblood or Iron Blood is inconsistent in the official source)
Sakura Empire == IJN
Dragon Empery == China (Both ROC and PRC, apparently)
Northern Union == USSR

We don't have official English names for Vichya and Iris Libre.
