The ravine of difference between male and female "highly personal" (for lack of a better term) products always kind of took me back a bit. In a typical supermarket men usually have a small selection of underwear on one or two discrete shelves with very few shapes and usually only one or two brand owners, and that's all they need to worry about. Meanwhile, women have entire sections of the store that proudly display all kinds of patterned bras and panties while shamelessly expecting buyers to pick them up, as well as having entire shelves dedicated to feminine hygiene products for highly private affairs.
I suppose any woman who is confident in her sexuality has no problem browsing underwear in a public setting, and has probably already accepted her biology. As a guy though, I always thought it odd that all these things that are stresses for women have such forward marketing, as if it's some kind of source of strength. I cannot help but think that if the world was genderswapped and men were suddenly dealing with women problems, it would be totally opposite.
Or maybe I'm just over analyzing a sketch comic. I guess I'd like to think being a woman is simpler than what it is.
