Who makes them annoying, however? The creators of the yukkuri who happen to be guro fetishists. Ultimately, it's nothing more than a way to justify what they draw by making it so that they "deserve it". Yet if a child were to act this way, would they then "deserve" the same treatment? As that other guy said, they only appear annoying because people draw them in such a way. They're a completely separate entity to the Touhou games, the only thing attaching them to the games is the characters they're based off.
Nothing is set in stone with them, so they can be annoying, they can be cute, they can be overly sarcastic for all anyone cares, and no-one could say "OMG THeY're So annoYing/KAWAII/snarKy" and hate them for it as they have no real character frames.
I kinda forgot where I was going with that, but it's really just this guy's way of drawing the yukkuris. If you don't like them, go to another artist, they might be more caring to them.
I don't like how people can hate the yukkuri. They don't really exist, but people draw them as if they're monsters and when people draw them happy or cute, people ultimately hate on them even more.
