That tablet only runs Windows 10 Pro when used as such since the newer Quadro GPU inside it does not have proper Linux or UNIX drivers even though the Core i5 CPU can support Linux.
TBH professionals would probably use the 22D or 27QHD Cintiq models if they don't use the screenless digitizers. The companion is a bit too small for an effective workspace with most art applications and the lower powered screens used for portable tablet to laptop size form factors aren't very appropriate for the high precision work that professional art applications usually require. Most artists typically work in studios anyways, so portability is not an issue. The companion is a bit of a gimmicky and incredibly expensive toy that, whilst certainly nice, can't really work as anything but just that.
