40 minutes? Luxury. I stood in line for 5 hours to visit the USS Detroit when it was open for tours. And that was for a lousy LCS.

When the LST 325 came to town the first time, I stood in line for about an hour and a half to get aboard.

The second time I didn't have to stand in line because I was there to man the radio room. I stood two watches. It was fun being the rare DX for once instead of chasing it.
