    Since it was midsummer, I was at a loss for what to do until the time for the Kaga's shuttle bus. It was roasting, even in the shade. (^^;)

    It was midsummer according to the commentary. Sun would already be rising around 4AM and be decently high over the horizon at 6AM.
    The widow to my bedroom faces east and even just half an hour after sunrise, the room is cooking.
