    どこに行くか全然決めてなかったので、電車に乗ってて最初に気になった駅で降りてみました!

    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 2492

I'd made absolutely no plans on where to go, so I just boarded a train and got off at the first station that caught my interest!

Didn't see this up yet, so I decided to pre-script a translation and then post it. I finished scripting, refreshed the previous strip's page just in case, and what do you know! :-)

The survey's got 999 problems, but a train stop ain't one:

At which station would you want to debark?
    • Fossil Planet
    • City of Rain
    • Sloth Mirror
    • Planet Mosaic
    • Planet Maetel

Reader-added tags include "I'll eat o-inari-san at the Inari Shrine" (could mean inari-zushi, could mean testicles...), "No 'Bottom of the Marsh' in the survey" (Spirited Away reference), and "Typhoon: 'You 'bout ready, pal?'"

Sorry to keep you waiting! I woke up early, then late.

And I can't wait for Kogasa-san to get spirited away by the typhoon...

Seeing that array of arcs make me remember of that one move Ran made in Touhou Soccer...

No worries; I've done that a lot myself. I was more amused by how well the timing worked out for my purposes.

That's no coincidence. Kitsune are closely associated with the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which contains long rows (practically tunnels, really) of orange-red torii up its slopes. Ran's Touhou Soccer move shows her charging through a long row of those torii.

Isn't that because foxes are heavily associated with Inari in the first place?

That's what I said, though it may have gotten lost in the rest of my comment.

    The next day...
    At Random
So what will you do now?
There's supposed to be a typhoon coming, but there's no rain or even wind.
So I figure I'll go sightseeing!!
    Huh!?
    Fushimi Inari...
I'd been wanting to come here once.
Are you insane!? You know there's a typhoon coming, right!?
