Incidentally, "Collection" is spelled out "korekushon" in Hiragana, just like Kantai Collection is... but "Shiri Kamisama" sounds nothing at all like "Kantai", so I wonder if he tried to make a pun, and just gave up or what....
Sadism and the pretext of keeping her in fighting shape "just in case" are all the reasons Hibiki and Kamio need, I think. Besides, it would be funny.
Although it would be just as probable for her to breeze through the bootcamp. She might have been one of the best fighters of Reiji's unit even if her official role is medic.
I mean, Reiji and Ruriko were the past two that were alive during that disastrous operation that killed the rest of his squad. Ruriko getting eaten just moments before Inazuma arrived. Surviving for that long would have meant she was good at avoiding attacks, and got hit due to tending to Reiji(she was a medic after all), who took a huge blow.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, why haven't Yamato and Musashi showed up yet? They should have participated in the operation.
Yua himself has them. I don't think this base does, though.
Either way, the results of the Boot Camp would probably boil down to Rule Of Funny.
This base does not have them. There were a couple of side pages not connected to the story about it, based presumably on Yua's experiences getting both of them during his play of the game. I'm guessing he doesn't see either as being necessary to the story he's telling, though.
