Amusingly, I just played a '68 campaign (the one that's considered "hard mode" due to being forced to use Mk 37s and Mk 18s) in Cold Waters aboard the USS Batfish. I laid waste to quite a few amphibious invasions in that ship.
If my game's submarine were the one being personified, she'd have an almost suicidally aggressive streak, because I was popping off active sonar to bait enemy subs into firing on me just to find some of the enemy in the near-constant storms I was stuck in.
