It could be a decoy spoiler. She tells you what you think is the spoiler, but then the plot twist winds up being something completely different.

Neither you nor the girl who sits behind you are ghosts, but the girl who sits two seats over to your right is a demon with the power to make people think other people are ghosts.

There's a limit to how convoluted you can really make a ghost story, though. Fear is primal, and has to be triggered by either something causing immediate threat to you, or the fear of something lurking and waiting to cause harm to you as soon as you relax. A demon somewhere else pulling pranks isn't a threat, and if you need to break out a flowchart to follow the degrees of separation from the threat to what you're actually seeing, then it might work as a suspense thriller, but not as a regular horror story.

Plus, is Akitsu Maru really capable of pulling off something so complex when she's clearly the boke of this pair? Advent Zero's post on the earlier version of the comic seems more likely, since it doesn't require guile on Akitsu Maru's part:
