I'd kill for a Sun/Moon remake, but at this point that's just wishing to a monkey's paw. Unless what happened with Palworld made Pokemon Company stance changed on keeping the main series as Nintendo-only or motivated Gamefreak enough to create better environmental design it'll come out as souless as shit.
Wait, come to think of it the last 'remake' was technically DP/PT with Legends of Arceus, right? Then the next game to be remake is B/W, a fan favorite; that'll be the make-or-break moment for them to (potentially) destroy all hopes of longtime fans of the series or salvage them and create better games, although we all know it's leaning to the former...
