Ido really needs to draw Sarachi more. Last time she appeared for an extended time was the whole kotatsu shenanigan.

Well what can you expect to a hardcore worker like Bismarck?

Also Teste, while I can agree with you about the Karl Gerat being ugly, the Tiger isn't by any means an ugly tank aesthetics wise since its silhouette is probably enough to scare the living shit out of gunners peering through their gun scopes. I don't know about the Horch used to takedown tho.

Maybe it's time for an Unholy Alliance between Bismarck, Sara and Gangut.

She could also go with characters like Graf and Zara, they're not taken over by the "Hetaliafication" of the first ships of their nation to drop, so they're relatively more sane.

Now that you mention it, Ido's Zara doesn't seem to pop out much.

If only Warspite brought a Sherman Firefly instead of a Great War relic.

Teste being French is all about style and French tanks can be pretty damn cute at times. German tanks are too "engineery" and efficient, no style at all.

    - "efficient"
    - no sloped armor

    Pick one.

Say that to Gangut, who was laid down in 1909, completed in 1914, and served to 1956.
She only lost one of her 4 sisters.

Bismark was laid down in 1936.

Bismark was laid down in 1936.

Bismark was the first foreign ship implemented though.

I believe Myschi is referring to Shipgirl oldest, which is implementation in KanColle date and time spent in this comic.

Sherman has 76mm, punches through front hull of tiger at battle range.

The Tiger was overrated and not a major issue, the Panther was a significantly more difficult target frontally. Although this ignores the key fact the US army never engaged tigers in any numbers, like the incidents can be counted on one hand. The Tiger was already getting rare by 1944 (only 1300 were built total and production ended that year) and the few units used in the west were deployed against the British sector at Normandy and summarily annihilated and that was pretty much the end of the Tigers I in the west. Basically all the reports of "Tigers" by US tank crews were almost entirely Panzer IVs with anything that was a boxy looking tank becoming a "Tiger".

Ironically just about the only engagement against a Tiger by US armored units for which good documentation exists occurred against a Pershing toward the end of the war.

Another fun fact being a US army armored crewman was pretty much the safest frontline job in the army, from D-day to the end of the war something like 1500 US army tank crewman were killed in action, and something like half of them were killed while outside a tank. The later model Sherman was actually highly survivable; it was easy to evacuate, it's ammunition was comparatively insensitive when exposed to fire, it didn't burn more readily then other vehicles, and it's comparatively soft and well manufactured armor did not spall easily. On average less then one crewman was killed for every tank knocked out by enemy fire.

    Bismarck.
    So you see,
    Eat this!
There'll be new comrades from Britain, France and Italy joining us this time.
there's no one else I can ask this but you.
The Italians suddenly started hurling tomatoes at me...
    Bismarck-san!
So go buy some from H.R. Higgins before this afternoon's tea time.
About that hideous-looking tank of yours - Iowa fainted from shock after seeing it. Do something.
    Oh, there you are, Bismarck.
Look here, Bismarck, we're out of tea leaves...
Please take care of our new foreign recruits like a good senpai.
    Ah, it's Bismarck!
They said it's some sort of festival or something...
    Wa----
    NOPE.
    Bismarck, are you listening?
Hey, am I allowed to purge those damned Latins?
    Bismarck!!
I assume you already know there's going to be a large-scale operation in Europe shortly.
    Bismarck-san.
