In Japanese, the single character "園" is recognized as the suffix for various kind of "gardens".

• "植物" (plant, botany) + "園" = "植物園" (botanical gardens)
• "動物" (animal) + "園" = "動物園" (zoological gardens, zoo)
• "公" (public) + "園" = "公園" (public garden, park)
• "幼稚" (children) + "園" = "幼稚園" (children's garden → kindergarten)

Yes, but in my experience, I haven't seen such titles abbreviated to just "園", so until I saw it used consistently in the survey, I thought the dialog was an error.
