Am I the only one who generally likes the art and designs of girls frontline better than can't i/can't die/canned eye collection? I mean I know girls frontline is the dime store knockoff, but the majority, I'd say 70-80% of kantai girls have boring/uninteresting designs.
The frontline girls are hitter on the whole, the art in general is make appealing, they go in cooler directions etc.
Going up against a monloth like kancolle is probably gonna get me crucified but it'd be nice to find out even one person agrees

Seriously though, I agree. For what it's worth, I also think Oshiro Project is one of the superior games.

I wanna say that is a wide difference anyway. Besides lorewise the girls here are T-Dolls, so basically they don't die for good. Unless we talk about the story~

As much as it pains me, I have to agree on art department. Even I've come to wish that certain artists in WSG were to be recruited into KC somehow. However, when it comes to design of enemy units, KC is still the champion for me by the miles.
For me KC is not just about the artwork. It's just one of many factors why I was attracted to the franchise to begin with. That aside, I'm still confused about the concept of girls in FG. Do we identify them as one with firearm they carry? Is it possible for them to simply swap firearms with other units?
The android body is mentally linked to the firearm, it's like an extension of their own body; they can feel it overheating, jamming, etc. They probably can't switch to different models but they can link to others of the same model since the same mental link allows their AI to control multiple bodies holding multiple of the same firearm anyway.
