Gosh this guy's work is pretty uncanny. Putting real faces on anime heads looks kinda funky. I keep staring at it and get the feeling that this is less of a drawing and more of a composite image that's been artsified, because the hair stands out so much, like it's a real wig shopped over the simplified details of the rest of the body.

Not gonna lie, the thumbnail made me think it was a photo.
I am sure that in the coming years, there will be intriguing software able to instantly turn photos of real girls/boys into drawings like this, making such pictures literally indistinguishable from real drawings (to the average person), looking like the one up there. Not everyone is going to like it though.
That's Uncanny Valley for you. Its based on instinctual response, so its a lot easier to trigger with something we're programmed to focus on and notice a lot of detail in like faces.
