I wonder why people tend to give Aerith yuri undertones, I never noticed anything alluding to that fact in the game. (Noticing Aerith linking arms and winking at an embarrassed Tina) I've seen it in several places now.

It's either that, the fact that she died, or she's the one the fandom clings onto because they REALLY like her (in the way some people REALLY like cranial intrusion)
Cause remember, you could have nearly the entire cast of FFV in here, and you could go through the entire game without making Lenna a White Mage, but since she's the only girl you have for the entire game that isn't pretending to be a guy or on a completely different world she gets to go on the pic.
Aerith was a big part of the plot as a whole and incidentally the one with the most impact (Tifa and her role in fixing Cloud up is usually overlooked).
Lenna's shown as she's the closest thing to FFV's main heroine.
