This seems to be a follow-up to a comment gomA made on this comic, which said that if Akashi's so eager to get into combat, it must be because she wants levels to get married!

I think what she's saying is that she's the hardest ship to get to L99 because of her almost total lack of combat ability, not that nobody would want to marry her. (Even Hayasui has better stats in everything but armor and evasion.)
I just realized that, systematically, I have the worst prospects for marriage!
On top of being harder to level due to her practically non-existent firepower, there's little to no merit in marrying her since she's only used for repairing ships and equipment improvements, neither of which benefit from higher level cap or consumption reduction.
