It's actually referencing to a common gag in Japan where foreign tourists are often made to buy clothes with kanji, unbeknownst to them that they're mostly nonsensical or would look really lame in Japan society.

I also know about the pool, but @andalus doesn't seem to add the posts into it despite me having edited the whole pool based on its chronological release, so I figured he might have a reason for it and have refrained from doing so.

Yes that true. its because description of pool, it says "Comic series that is based on the setting of the Idolmaster Cinderella Girls anime" and i think chameleon work lately not based on anime imas
