Don't have Switch, is this true? I know Nintendo aren't the best when it comes to designing controllers.
To put it simply, those specific buttons are tiny as hell because they're where you normally slide in the screen/controller. Local multiplayer on the Switch feels pretty forced in, honestly. The thing is really comfortable when playing solo, with the screen or even with a joycon in each hand, but bring in a pal and you end up with "controllers" the size of half a wiimote each, with the buttons dead center (because, you know, those are meant to be upright) and it's just awkward.
