Fanart of Naoki Urasawa's "Monster." The alternate title to this pic is "Copics Marker Practice Piece That Took Way Too Much Time."

It's a very grim, dark series, so I thought I'd go the opposite direction and use ironically bright colours. I wanted the monsters to look like they're popping out from the pages of the storybook they're from. I had fun doing them in a different art style.

Apparently the twins are destined to forever be disembodied heads in my artwork.
