To play devil's advocate... Perhaps the part covering the nose is compartmentalized separately from the rest? Or would that not work?
No. I only know how the masks used in the Swedish military are shaped and there the mouth and nose are compartmentalized together, but away from the top part of the face. The idea is to force the air to come in on one side, pass over the glass to prevent fogging and then enter the mouth/nose area from the other side.

More along the lines if you already have a runny nose and you sneeze, its gonna get messy, and that Mess in now on the inside of the mask which is attached to your face.
