This one is smaller. Although the file is bigger I think there's still loss... I did a basic comparison just looking at the too pics side by side with the smaller zoomed to the others resolution and it appeared to have less quality. Did you compare by another means to determine it looked better?

Yes I did compare the two images. Try zooming in on her chin and you will see the artifacting on the child post, but not this one. I have compared almost all my uploads between this artist's Artstation and his Tumblr, and I believe he is uploading compressed and resized versions of his art to his Artstation account.

Edit: On second thought, while there is artifacting on the first image, this one does appear less detailed, so I'm reversing the parent/child relationship.

@D1ce Ain't it funny... how months later we come to find out this picture was in fact much better than the other. Oh well we live and learn here.
