Don't despair so much 2015 ABKM, there'll be Kinu and enough daihatsu destroyers to take your place in a year or so.

To be fair, I never used ABKM for expeditions. By the time I had enough Daihatsu to use, Kinu already became the CL Daihatsu mule for fleet #3.

Never used her for expeditions nor have I used Kinu. That role is for my lv.90ish Tenryuu/Tatsuta (unremodeled, got to that level from 3½ years of daily expeditions) and occasianally Yuubari
Abubear got fed with Maru-yus and is still leading my torpedo squadron for 3-5 and monthly quests .

I kinda stopped going the south route for 3-5 because I kept getting annoyed by the frequent Taihas. I rather just let Hoppo get pissed at me than go south.

I use Ooyodo and Yuubari for expeditions more than any other CL, Daihatsus are equipped on DDs anyway. Kinu is my recent addition for short expeditions (2 and 6). Adding to "You Need a Vacation" pool.

Abubear's on break at my naval base. Hell, if you're not in the 4-3 Leveling grind or the Orel Crew, you're almost always on break.

Well, as long as you're not a Mutsuki-class, DesDiv6, DesDiv7, Kagerou-class or Tenryuu. Those Akitsu Maru's aren't going to run those expeditions themselves, now.
