You're right. Though, it's not a shadow, but actually her, in that light.

Interpreting the scene... it would seem that they've defeated a sun god, or something along those lines, but it doesn't look like there's much to celebrate.

I'm still not seeing remilia. I think I'm blind.

You can only see her as a shadow against that blinding background lighting, though.
