ageha (butterfly affection) drawn by ray-k

Artist's commentary

  • Translated
  • Although it is hard to read Ageha's thoughts and feelings, recently her facial expressions have become much more varied. She smiles tenderly when I caress her face, and frowns when she doesn't get the desired attention.
I haven't considered this before, but she spends much of her daily life observing people, such as me at home or characters on the screen. Although this is just a guess, but I think she is actively trying to "mimic" human behavior.
Despite her obviously non-human nature, she is gradually losing her abnormal traits and taking a more human appearance, and suddenly started showing human emotions, or at least imitating them. This feels less like natural "change" and more like deliberate "action".
I'm glad that Ageha has become so expressive, but I'm also worried that she keeps advancing beyond my comprehension. Right now, I can't get any answers.
