It's weird to see someone else change all the translations slightly to fit their own personal taste better, especially since there's so much untranslated stuff they could be working on instead.
I apologize if my polishing up and completion of sound effects and such raised your hackles, but attempting to raise mine in return isn't the answer.

Not many people relate "saaaa" to leaves being blown in wind though, aside from Japaneses that is. So having something easy for people relate is also a work for translator. I learned that having 25% pay cut on making such mistakes.
That's not the change I'm talking about. That would be beyond silly. There was a place where the translated sentence was change a little bit, without the meaning changing at all. It just looks to me like someone's really insistent on their personal interpretations being forced through.
I'm also a little peeved with these things, because I often see translations over-interpreting, and ending up saying something that wasn't even implied in the original text.
Again, my apologies if you found that offensive. In that case, I wasn't so much editing to enforce my personal interpretations as to perform what I honestly felt was a minor improvement on sentence flow. I don't believe I added anything that wasn't at least implied in the original text. If you want to revert it, please feel free to do so; no one's translations here are sacred and untouchable, mine included.

Okay. I'm sorry for jumping the gun here. But I do have many points to agree with Moonspeaker. Translation isn't just about getting the meaning through to people who don't know the original language after all.
That said, I do believe your translation is close to untouchable, Moonspeaker. Not because no one has the right to do anything to it, but many translator on Danbooru really admire your work. I personally try to not edit your notes if I can help it. You should remember me messaging you about 1 of your notes in Futa's 4-koma pool. That's just to say how good a work you do.
No offense, but, Walles, I do think a little improvement doesn't really hurt. I don't like my notes edited either, but let's just take what people edit in those notes and add them to your vocabulary. That's how I got my current job. By learning from the bests and the worst, at the same time. That...should mean something, I hope.
On reflection, it seems obvious, but I didn't realize this was being uploaded to Danbooru. So at least I got to read everything for the first time in one go. Guess I'm in the same boat as everyone else now, though.

I took a break from this website for over four years. I thought when I came back it would be over, I was wrong. Know that it continues is great though. My immense thanks to the translators!
