I love how german is used so often in several anime/manga but up to now not one i've seen got the grammar completely right or at least not dumb-sounding.

It means, literally translated, "little tail dawn island" and since the German word "Schwanz" is the oscene slang expression for the penis, it also can mean "little cock dawn island"

I think it should originally mean " little tail island" but you can understand it as "little cock island" too.

Correct German would probably be "Kleine Schwanzdämmerungsinsel" (i.e. one whole word :o) which is already translated by arisboch^^.

Well, it can't be helped. Japan loves to add Western culture to their franchises, just like us who are all crazy about Japanese culture in every of our game/media. Funny eh?
