Mario Kart is a friendship tester to be sure, but nothing compared to Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. If there was ever a game that could cause a complete breakdown of relations and declaration of war, it would be that damn game. I've had friendships crack over powerup sharing, treasure chests, and stolen boss loot.
What other kind of video game exists that not only can accomodate four players at the same time, has in-game pick-up items, and where speed is such a vital factor that knowing where a hidden shortcut is can be a decisive factor in your chances of higher ranking/achieving victory, but one of the pick-up items gives you bananas?
IMO, "what you see" includes the dialogue and indirect evidence in the environment.
Tagging Mario Kart regardless of rule because the artist has him/herself tagged their picture in Nicoseiga with the "Mario Kart" tag.
Well, reviewing at howto:tag rules not only state "tag what you see" but also "only tag the visual and factual elements in the image". This counts as a factual element so it's all right anyway. They definitively aren't playing "DreamWorks Super Star Kartz" and they do look like GameCube controllers that's for sure.
2) Whoever made sure that Warspite's line was in British English ("apologise"), you are a genius.
Well... I default to British English anyway (Being from New Zealand and all), so it's more ensuring that lines conform to American Standard, rather than the reverse.
I do try to leave British English-speaking characters (Which pretty much just means Kongou and Warspite - though one could make the case for the Kreigsmariners and Teste) in the Queen's English, though.

Aww, where's Verniy in all of this? I could see her beating them hands-down; them kids just tend to be better than adults at picking up games.
Though she's just being dragged into their "conflict" as a passerby, to be honest. That innocent destroyer was just in the wrong place, in the wrong set of clothes, at the wrong time.
Inb4 Z1 and Z3 come into the picture.
