Every year on July 7th, one month before the anniversary of Nagara's sinking, the woman performs the ritual ceremony at sea.
"First Sino-Japanese War/Russo-Japanese War Memorial" "Navy Memorial" "Army Memorial" "Admiral Yamamoto Memorial" "Memorial for the Unknown Soldier" They were erected at her private expense.
Nagara's survivors and bereaved family members were too busy in the post-war years, so they were unaware of this woman's annual commemoration and did not go visit her.
Only 1 person continued to memorialize Nagara.
In 1973, it was reported in the newspapers, and the following year on television. Nagara's survivors and bereaved family members were now aware of the woman's efforts, and her memorial was visited by various people.
Despite this, in 1970 (Showa 45), she erected the "Memorial for the Cruiser Nagara".
In the 61st year of the Showa Era, Sasaki Tsuru quietly passed away. 1986
