Well, Kamikaze is the DD that managed to not only survive the war mostly intact, but also outmaneuvered several US subs that tried to sink her.
She survived most of the war intact because she was an obsolete ship that never went to the front lines. Yukikaze, Ushio, and Hibiki were basically the only front-line DD survivors, but there were dozens of third, fourth, and fifth-string destroyers that never really left Japanese waters that survived.
Her "dodging submarines", while somewhat laudable, is rather marred by the fact that she was generally on escort duty at the time, meant to hunt the submarines. While she was dodging, many of her escort targets were sunk. (Including Haguro and Ashigara, although Haguro was at least by surface action...) While escorting Ise and Hyuuga, her dodging of torpedoes is likewise not quite as grand when you consider she wasn't the target, and it was mostly an abysmal series of fumbles on the American side that let two damaged battleships through a net of two dozen submarines with no hits.
Likewise, I don't see anything about Kamikaze actually hitting any targets, just avoiding serious damage.
