Storming hard enough to send Yukari into the ocean despite having the instructor on board.
Inviting Kogasa kayaking seems to be... a very bad idea. Rest in peace, Yukari-sama. ;)
As for the poll, I voted for the cruisers even if I'm extraordinarily fond of certain unlucky battleships. Yamashiro and Fusou are almost Kogasa class in their Luck scores.
I'm married to a certain raven-haired light carrier, so my answer is kinda obvious.
The scary thing about squalls in open waters isn't the wind or waves - it's the disorientation that comes from the combination of winds, wave and loss of visibility due to the sheer volume of the downpour. You could be paddling in circles for an hour, perfectly within 5 minutes out from shore, and be none the wiser.

Also, I don't think the kayak that Chen and Ran are on gas enough extra buoyancy to accommodate Yukari as well (with the mass of those taila), so their going back for Yukari would result in two overturned kayaks instead of just one.
If Yukari were to be a battleship, what about Kongou? And they were taunting the rain god that follows Kogasauthor, so the gap was the sacrificial appeaser.
