I thought "Plasma-chan" was specific to when Inazuma is drawn with that one particular weird Face of Evil. She's just rocking the Tatsuta Smile here (which is actually more intimidating :).

That is the most common form of Plasma but Plasma is when ever the darkness overtakes the light Plasma

Same reason that Kaga and CV-Hime or Harusame and Destroyer Hime are able to exist at the same time. :p
