    So let me get this straight... Submarine-girls want to go out and play in the snow, so they wear nothing but their standard swimsuits. Maru-yu wants to drive her truck, though, so she puts on a sweater, because inside the heated truck, she'll need that, unlike when she's simply playing in the snow.

    It's camouflage. The civilians will never notice the tiny girl driving the truck if she's dressed appropriately for the weather.
