This guy needs to either get shot to death by Mikazuki, or just outright beat to death by Barbatos Lupus' mace.

I'd actually like to see him arrested, charged for all kinds of crimes, sentenced to forced labour in some miserable mine on Mars, and also ordered to pay heavy compensation for all the damage. That would totally shame him and his stupid clan. If he needs to die, then he at least should die like a total loser, with no honour and glory.

Eh, I just am kinda disappointed that all antagonists in Tekketsu no Orphans so far barring McGillis and Gaelio are either just way too incompetent, flat out omfg look at me I'm so evil, or just plain one dimensional.

Eps 35 - Despite from an elite family of 7 Stars, yet knew nothing of Mobile Armor, heck, even Juliette knew a lot more. Caused Hashmal to awaken.
Eps 36 - Tekkadan planned a trap and destroyed Hashmal in a safe manner by correctly predicting its path, Idiok there take pot shot at it, diverting it to a nearby farm, the people at farm paid the price.
Eps 37 - After difficulty, Tekkadan managed to lure back to trap path, Idiok again appeared and make another pot shot, this time pissing off Hashmal causing the thing to up its speed, Tekkadan's trap fails.

If anything, Idiok's actions show how horrible and foolish of current 7 Stars and Gjallarhorns are, the scions of 7 Stars either fixated on personal honor (Carta Issue) or social class (Gaelio Bauduin) with no regards to normal folks, Iok "the Idiot" Kujan has both flaws in spades. If anything, you would want to support McGillis to dismantle this corrupted organization.

You basically seem to forget that everything Tekkadan did also was for their own personal benefits. And they sure screw over a bunch of rules from all authorities for that. Yes there was the "we want to have a stable life" but the King of Mars thing was enough of a proof that they also are power hungry enough to continue on a campaign for personal power even if it means risking sacrificing more of their own people's lives.

They never really were personally invested in Kudelia's freedom movement and was only acting as her bodyguard throughout the entire season 1.

You could argue they want better things for their family and loved ones, but so did Gjallarhorn. I mean look at Ein, his motive was supposed to be the most heroic of all of the characters yet because of his own personal incompetence(and McGillis's manipulations), he ended up being a one-dimensional revenge crazy mook.

Also looking from some other Gjallarhorn's perspective like Karta or Gaelio, Tekkadan are the villains trying to disrupt what they themselves perceived to be peace. You can't deny that from the views of "authority", Tekkadan just are a bunch of delinquent kids going around with weapons that might as well be nukes.

Which is probably the point the show, and Gundam in general, is making. Taking looks at both extremes you can see that neither side is truly "right" in what they are doing and both have glaring flaws that need to be address. Although in Idiok's case he's just such a ball of failure that Tekkadan's actions seem tame in comparison.

I know, Gundam protagonists aren't supposed to be squeaky clean and ones that does(cough cough Jesus Yamato) just are plain bad.

I just don't like it when people have to default their thought to a protagonist-centered morality. You know, where antagonists are 100% bad and protagonists are 100% good and there are no middle grounds.
