"...the fire was a result of a fight that has broken out at the carrier dorms when the newcomer, Saratoga, antagonized your wife over a meal she insisted she cooked herself." Ooyodo reported as the blaze was finally brought to control by the efforts of the base's firefighters and kanmusu who had formed teams and had helped prevent the spread to other dorms.
"What's it going to cost us..."
"Cost estimates have not come in yet, but considering the whole building went up, it'll be hefty. I would suggest talking to your wife and Saratoga, seperately, about this incident." Ooyodo smiled apologetically as she saw her admiral's face.
"Goddamnit..."
"Akashi has prepared a suit she modeled after the EOD gear the Marine armorers wear whenever she and Yuubari come up with some new contraption." She tried to ease his spirits, but was quite thankful she labelled this as a family affair and not something she had to do herself. She wasn't deployed at all this last go around and was not fond of spending hours in the dock now that operations has ceased and the base was in a resource recovery footing.
