I oughta watch this series. I've only ever read the manga and waiting for the next chapter of MMQ Paradox is leaving me with a hankering for monster girls.
Isn't a werefox just a Kyuubi or do the tails play a factor in it's classification?
Kyuubi literally means 9 (kyuu) tails (bi), and yes is only used on foxes that have 9 tails. The word you're probably looking for is "youko", which seems to be used for all monster foxes.
