They might as well be good guys since Blizzard is going for the classic, all villains must lose crap. I think even with a entire team of bad guys, they would still lose because the writers won't let them win. The story in this game feels more childish than a marvel movie, we already know the good guys will always win.

then that would be easy to read and becomes a boring plot. I'm not living in the period where the hero always wins.
The recent one was because Sombra had a plan on her own. The others are yeah, thwarted but still Team Edgy still wins for now.
Cinematic Trailer: Failure to secure Doomfist's gauntlet. Widowmaker gets KTFO by a kid. Recall: Failure to download the database of Overwatch agents due to Talon soldier slipping on a banana peel. Alive: Successful assassination of Mondatta, Tracer incapacitated. Old Soldiers: Failure to find whatever info they were looking for on Helix. Ambushed 76 but Ana turned the tables on that and forced Reaper to retreat. Infiltration: Failure due to Sombra's gambit.
Even counting out Infiltration, it's still a success rate of about 25%, and the sole successful mission was probably because Widowmaker went alone. It's a wonder why Talon keeps Reaper on their payroll.

Having Edgelord McEdge on your payroll gives your wannabee evil organization some serious cred.
Well, the better way to put it is, like Team Rocket, they are known to be successful based on background info, but didn't show much success on screen or when the major characters are involved.

Yeah how dare a story actually be heroic and fun. They should totally have lots of mass murder, and angst, and hell how about some sexual assualts and stuff too for maximum edge! No wonder you're so butt hurt Reaper keeps losing clearly you're kindred spirits. I assume something like "Evil will always triumph because good is dumb!" is a personal mantra of yours.

Ana Origin Story: Presumably a success. Ana taken out by Widowmaker.
Your assessment seems to be spot on. Infiltration could have been successful if Widowmaker went alone. All other successes was hers alone.
