I know that feeling (I myself experience this frequently to be honest), but eventually you'll get there, or you can explore and see if there are other artists you're interested in and get their works uploaded here. Better luck next time.
If you are interested in a particular artist, you can always check their twitter. They might have images they posted only there. Twitter's also pretty low competition environment, so you can generally take your time uploading. Although it might get yellow border'd and deleted if the image appears in pixiv or tumblr.

Not really, the Twitter competition is high, but not nearly as high as Pixiv and Seiga. And also, Twitter uploads won't get deleted if they are uploaded first before the Pixiv version.
