Still, the spiral stair seems a bit unsafe ( although fairies are light ), and the glowing entrance at the foot of the staircase seems speculative.

It is.

Although it's odd to see it applied to Cirno and Daiyousei.

Sunny, Luna, and Star were the ones that built a house and 'lived like humans', and specifically stated that they were outliers among fairies for doing so.

You could simply swap out Cirno and Dai for the trio, and have a more lore-friendly effect. :P

Or you could have Cirno build a huge house made of ice to replace her igloo. After all, she was quite jealous of the Trio's living place. Come to think of it, that could be a justification for that picture.

Cirno has an igloo out by Misty Lake. Or at least she had one in Strange and Bright Nature Diety, before the Three Fairies dropped a rock on it, thus starting the Great Fairy War.

Well, yeah, that's the igloo I meant when I wrote about replacing it. :P
