There really was no other time slot available.
The previous time I'd had mizu shingen mochi, it was at a different store, and I'd had time to spare, so we underestimated this.
Actually, we didn't know it had been introduced on TV, so we were surprised. It seems they start distributing numbered tickets at 8:30, so it might be best to go at that time.
The parking lot fills up in no time, too.
