Also, the burning mark on Robber-san is less noticeable (almost nonexistent), so I thought it was an error until I saw the hand.

And just to be clear, it was not drawn by Wangphing (you can see the artist name at the end anyway).

No it's not drawn by Wangphing. On his facebook page, he stated that it's a fanart from another artist called Tan.

I knew some would mistake for him, I almost did the same until I noticed the art was different and the burned mark was less noticeable. And then the artist name at the end.

She's technically still a ship-girl since she only works night shifts. (so far no other information that I know dismisses this)

Naval school, to be exact. That's where you get to be a commander. Or at least be an officer. From there, you can go up. It's not easy to raise to the rank of an admiral from being a seaman after all.

And considering he's a hooligan before (and he probably dodged jailtime by cleaning up his act), this turn of leaf makes it more admirable.

PS. You're probably right about that naval school thingy, I always pass by one on the way to work. Never knew it worked that way in the navy.

It's that way for all military branches. You have to go through training to be an officer. Not quite apply during war time though. But really, Naval school is a must, as far as I know, to be an officer in the Navy.

Eh, probably the only way he could have stayed alive, cause mobsters used to having control don't know when to quit.
