She "wants to" get pregnant, not she "is already" or "was" pregnant. Note that 孕む conjugates to 孕んでいた or 孕んだ, not 孕みていた or 孕みた, due to euphonic sound changes for -mu stem words when taking the ren'youkei form with most t-initial auxiliaries . This sound change does not occur for the desiderative forms 孕みたい and 孕みたがる (despite both auxiliaries also starting with 't').
孕みたガール is a pun on 孕みたがる, turning it into a portmanteau (of tagaru and gaaru [girl]). This form of wordplay also pops up quite often with other verbs conjugated to ren'youkei + tagaru forms, like 読みたガール and 飛びたガール.
