On a (darkly) humorous note, there was an incident in my country where a 6-month-old baby was rushed to the hospital by neighbors because he was throwing up bile and blood. Turns out the mother (a little over 20) fed him cola because she said he liked it.
Diagnosis: perforated stomach and small intestine. Kid survived, by the way.
